Many of the more experienced members of CBC or those who have specialized interests are sharing their know-how with young generations. As visiting lecturers and course supervisors we have taught at the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy at Università Roma 3 and the Faculty of Cultural Heritage Conservation at the University of Tuscia, Viterbo. Various staff have been invited to give lessons on specific topics by the Istituto Superiore for Conservation and Restoration, the Venaria Reale Restoration Center in Turin, ICCROM (the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property), Cesmar 7 (Center for the study of conservation materials). In Italy and the USA we have promoted and organized numerous seminars and theoretical/practical workshops, collaborating with various public and private partners. For some years, we have been offering internships and training placements to students from recognized conservation courses. Students who are accepted are assigned a tutor chosen on the basis of the area of professional interest of the student.
